12 Things Zoey Can Do. . .

I know, there isn't a new picture, but I wanted to make a list of all the things that Zoey is learning to do--so that I won't forget when it all happened. So here it goes. . .

1. Zoey can say "hi."
2. She waves at everyone and everything.
3. Zoey climbs stairs (better up than down.)
4. Zoey can high five (so cute!)
5. She can put toys away
6. She can put the shapes through the right holes in the the block sorter toy
7. Zoey spends a lot of her time at the bookshelf in her room, taking books off the shelf and looking at them (and eventually eating them)
8. Zoey can understand the word "no"
9. Zoey can choose when to listen to the word "no"
10. Zoey can give kisses
11. Zoey can clap
12. (As Tyler comments), Zoey can say "mama" and "dada"--but it sounds a lot like babbling--so it is hard to say for sure if she makes the connection.

Thanks Zoey! You're the best!

This is what a 10 1/2 month old's allowance can buy these days.

Our first family jog was a success! Zoey really enjoyed all the little bumps and going fast. She holds her hands out like she is flying.

AAHHH! Zoey's newest trick to get attention is laying on soft pillows and blankets and waiting for us to notice and say "Aahhh!"

Zoey is really enjoying the new family room. We play downstairs all the day!

Playing guitar with daddy is fun!

Happy Easter!

Here are the pictures from Zoey's first Easter. She had a nice day. We found out that Zoey is not crazy about wearing a dress--she can't crawl around--and hats are that popular either. But I think she sure was cute in her Easter outfit.

(Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for the dress!)

After church we came home and Zoey went on a "peep" hunt. She was actually pretty good at finding them hidden around the family room.

Zoey tries to give her Easter eggs to everyone around her. She loves to share.

Zoey tries to enjoy Mommy's chocolate Easter bunny. Mommy doesn't like to share. It's all mine, Zoey! :-)

Zoey and Auntie Tammy. We went over to Nanna and Grandpa's house for Easter dinner.

A nice Livingston/Nyhlen family picture.

Zoey hangs out with the guys on the deck. What a gorgeous day!

SPRING BREAK!!! Yahoo!

As our spring break comes to an end, here is a short recap of what we did. For the time that we were home--redecorating the basement was top priority. We have the new carpet ordered, the walls have paint, the sink is gone, and the tile is almost all pulled and cleaned up. But the most exciting thing about our break was the timely arrival of Kylie Elizabeth. It worked out great for us that she was born on Monday. We traveled up to Fargo/Moorhead on Wednesday to meet her and visit with Rob and Nicole, then continued the trip up to Grand Forks to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a day. We returned home on Friday.

It has been a fun yet busy break.
I think that I need to go back to work just to get a rest!

Zoey caused a little havoc at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Grand Forks. Bookshelves are fun!
