Girls' Weekend

To start off, the highlight so far of the weekend is being the first to capture the early smiles of Kristie on camera--she sure is cute when she smiles! Yeah Me!

Zoey and I took a road trip today up to Moorhead to meet and greet Kristie and the rest of the family. It has been a fun trip! Even Grandma and Grandpa Nyhlen came down for the afternoon.

We went to Sheild's Sporting Store and there was lots to look at and do. The indoor ferris wheel of course was the highlight.

Mommy: Wow! Whose flag is that?
Zoey: Perkins!

Zoey (at the bookstore): Mommy, look at this thing. What is it?
Mommy: Oh, that's a globe. It is a map of the world.
Zoey: Cool. Show me where we live.
Mommy: OK, well here is China and then we turn the globe to the United States and we live here in the state of Minnesota.
Zoey: Oh. Now show me where Perkins is.
