Zoey Goes Rogue!

Explanation: I was going through my phone pictures and videos today and this one stopped me in my tracks! I had never seen it before and was surprised to come across it. It took me a bit, but here is what I figured out. . . Zoey took my phone at work sometime in the past month or so and went UNDER a table and recorded this while I was having a meeting with someone. It is precious. . .it is like a little diary entry that makes me feel good that she is happy in 1st grade and likes where she is at.

My Little Artist!

 Zander is continuing to become quite the little artist. We are constantly amazed by the details and control that he has over his drawings. The art above and below are both creations that he made at Mary's. Mary said that the one above is completely Zander's idea. He called it "Girl Running Through the Forest." (This one is going be framed and hung in my house.)

The one below needs less of an explanation--but it is in honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday. The whole Cat in the Hat gang is represented.

Below is the envelope that Zander decorated for his friend Sammy's birthday. He drew a picture of Batman and copied the word. He loves to write!

Amigos--Zoey's First Grade Program

Zoey had her 1st grade program on Tuesday this week and WoW-Zer! Did they all do a nice job. I knew many of the kids that performed up on stage, but Zoey just shined and had so much fun. I couldn't take my eyes off of her! Please excuse the bumpy start to the video--I had a little brother that was wanting some attention too, but it gets better. You will be able to find Zoey--she is in the blue group, front row, very animated!

I helped Zoey get ready for her program at home and took some glamor shots of her on the porch. She is really growing up on us!
 
We went out to eat as a family before the program. We had a good time hanging out and taking some more pictures.
