On Aug. 11th, we went to Lake Elmo Park reserve to hang out with the Nyhlen Family. It was so nice to see everyone.
The food was good and the weather was perfect! We went swimming and had water fights. We went over to the park and had a lot of fun. Zoey was mostly enthralled with my cousin Duane. She and Duane picked on each other most of the day. He buried her in the sand, she made me dump a bucket of water on his head. Water guns were used freely and cake frosting became the weapon of choice toward the end of the epic battle. Zoey LOVED it! It gave the rest of us many good laughs as well!
Here is where Zoey is proudly displaying the frosting that she got when Duane pushed her face into a piece of cake. I believe that she also got a "rabbit tail" of frosting on her butt as well.
