Nice job Tyler and Judy!! You have both come a long way from those days of watching football/movies at Elgine's, surrounded by dust and general un-cleanliness. I hope we have a future high school basketeball player in our midst, so you can return to coaching, of course. Erin and I congratulate you.
Hey, Mason Spence showed me this blog today. I had you last year...Rachel Spence for 8th grade. Just wondering....did you call the baby "Bean" because of Ender's Game? I read that book so muhc over the summer!
Congratulations, Livingston Family! We're so excited for all 3 of you and can't wait to meet Zoey. Sincerely, Nan, Chris, Anne, Laura, Teresa, Stacy and Trish
Hi Rachel. Good to hear from you. I don't know why, but I never made the connection all year that you were related to Mason! Oops...oh well.
Though I think it is kinda neat that our nickname is also a character in one of my favorite all time books (the "Ender's Game" series), Zoey's nickname is not related.
Bean actually refers to the time when we were reading about the baby shortly after learning we were pregnant. At some point, we learned that Zoey was the size of a little bean. I think that's when it hit us how special she was to us. We also hated using "it" to refer to the baby, so she earned the gender-neutral nickname "Bean."
A webpage documenting the Livingston family. Zoey Christine Livingston, or "Bean" as her family called her when she was in utero--Born May 31st, 2005 at 1:56 am. 8 lbs. 6oz., 19.5 in. long, and Alexander Wade (AKA Zander or "Sprout")--Born July 24th, 2007 at 12:03 am. 8lbs., 21.5 in. long.

Thanks everyone! We're home now and all went well at the hospital. I'll update sometime tonight or tomorrow.
