First solo overnight: Sorry no pictures... I was too busy.
Zoey was a big girl (13 1/2 months) and spent the night, (all by herself in the Pack and Play,) at Nana and Grandpa Livingston's house. Mom and Dad went to a Twins game with some last minute tickets courtesy of Eric and Auntie Tammy. Zoey played with all her toys, showed us all the DADA pictures, pulled all the dust covers off the books that she could reach, showed us the "please" sign to get extra raisen toast off Nana, played cars in the kitchen, threw the ball around, used the couch for mountain climbing... And dismounted correctly, blew bubbles, tried to jump and dance, maybe said Zoey but came out Doey, "otdat" could have been what's that..., plus!!!!! went to bed just by being asked if she wanted to?!? She just walked down the hall a few minutes after her bath and her drink of milk and was ready for a fast read and into the sack she went. She slept with her favorite Matilda Street blanket which she knows where to find even when it's hidden. She woke up at 6 a.m. or so and just looked at me for about an hour. Finally I got up and got dressed put my glasses on and said "do you recognize me now and do you want to get up?" She decided she did and it was back to playing after eating a good breakfast. I had to take a nap and rest up for the rest of the day after Zoey was picked up by Mom. But we had a good time and even some rocking and quiet time looking at family pictures. However, where does she get all that energy??? It will take me a week to recover. It's good to be a Nana and Grandpa, though. Maybe it will keep us lively longer.
One thing I learned: The next overnight she sleeps in her Daddy's old room where I don't hear her every murmur and movement. She moves about that Pack and Play all night long, snores a little and talks in her sleep!

Oh, Lively Gran--are you going to survive another weekend overnight?!
Zoey, it is so much fun to watch you grow up! My new favorite thing that you do is the baby run, with your hands flapping all the way.
I also like how you baby talk at the family pictures...dada dada mama dada (not necessarily in reference to actual mama and dada pictures).
Ohhhhh, and baby sign language is sure neat! I watched you say "please" to Nana about...10 times in a row!
