A New School Year

Although Tyler and I are used to new school years, this one will be completely different for us as we experience for the first time being on the parent side of open houses, first days, conferences, field trips, etc. That's right. Zoey is starting kindergarten.

We got a postcard in the mail on Thursday from her new teacher, Ms. Kostuch. I don't know who was more excited to find out who the teacher was, me or Zoey (probably me!). We found out the same day that Zoey is in Maddie's class. Maddie is one of Zoey's friends from another daycare. They have had a couple of play-dates over the summer and seem to really get along well. I am excited that Zoey will be on the same bus and in the same class as Maddie. Zoey is looking forward to making many new friends.

This coming Wednesday is her open house. She gets to meet her teacher and explore the school a little.

Daniel is Maddie's little brother who is just a bit younger than Zander. They too are good friends!
