A Great Day for Cake!

That's right! Zander had his very first birthday party surround by family. Thank you all for coming and spending a beautiful afternoon with us. We enjoyed your company! Here are some pictures and video documenting Zander's special day!

Zander's first experience with cake was not disappointing. He LOVED it!

Kylie enjoyed the cake also.

We also opened presents in the presence of about 5 kids ages 2-4. Zoey was the biggest "helper." As you see below, Zoey was always in arms length of the present being opened.

Zoey was very excited to give Zander his gift. She has been telling me for a while that Zander does not have a special pillow or special blanket like she does. So we took care of the pillow. Zoey picked out the cover design. She also made me promise to have his special blanket made for him by Christmas.

Check out the look on Zander's face. As if to say, "Come on, Zoey, let me open my own gifts."

Zander got even more help with his gifts.

Zoey and Kiera tend to accidentally dress alike alot.

Zoey (and Kylie) were very helpful the morning of the party. They helped Grandma make and decorate the cupcakes.

Zander loves balloons. He almost floated away with all the ones that Grandpa brought home.

During the party Zander enjoyed LOTS of time with Great Uncles Jim and Jack. They were best buds! (Uncle Jim is pictured.)
